Dyna 3000 Switch Settings

Reprinted by permission, from Road Star Magazine

If you have installed a Dyna 3000 on your Road Star there is a little tip about how you can cut a hole in your battery case so you have easy access to the dip switches to change the Dyna's settings.  Problem is, after doing this you can't see the mud map for the switch settings.  So thanks to Jimtec of the Road Star Riders Forum here is a photo of the back of a Dyna 3000 for you to refer to or print out.

THE CURRENT SETTINGS IN THE IMAGE MAY NOT BE THE RECOMMENDED SETTING

2005 high compression 108 cu in patric racing motor balanced crank (Falcone),ported intake , and 42mm patric carb . with bassani duals . any recommendations for the dyna ignition settings .?
I was noticing that on the dyna site they recommended b settings for high compression . ? I'm noticing that most are opting for the 34a setting and 5000 rpm . this bike of mine has the stock cams .I haven't called dynatek yet but that may be my next option. I have always liked talking to you guys abut the fixes for the roadstar , you all have been so helpful in the past.

how hard is it to raise rev limit on late models fuel injected motors .Dynatek came out with a module but it looks different than the earlier models I think it has to be programed with a computer not sure if I should bother D3K7-10 is the module #

OK I was ready to get the dyna 3000 when I heard about the Speedstar ignition now I'am confused. Im tired of hitting the rev limiter. After 10 years and 35000 miles I cant take it anymore.... yes I am a patient guy. Im lookin for some imput on which to choose. I have a set of VH long shots, Hyper charger and I believe a stage 2 jet kit. I would really appreciat any and all imput. Thanks in advance

If you go to Dynatech's website www.dynaonline.com you will find that only the 2005 Roadstar has the passing lamp problem.
