Hi 2 all;
Great mods, however a bit pricey up here in Québec...Especially if you order the needle from a Suzuki dealer (50.00$CDN).Anyone knows the bike model/year this part goes to? I could look for aftermarket alternatives...
Tnx many times, Stef

Hi Stef,
I was going to toss my fuel pump also, but I'm having trouble finding one in stock anywhere. I found it in an online parts search it's used in a 2003 GSX 750. If you find a place that has them in stock I'd appreciate it if you let me know. I've just about given up.

$50

That's unbeliveable.

Guess I'll keep my pump.

I got the float valve (part 13370-08F50) from motogrid.com. Price was 33.23 USD. They had it in stock and didn't take long to receive it. I've had it sitting here waiting for an opportune time to take the carb off again. (It's doing so well right now I hate to monkey with it!)

Just noticed the link I had posted was incorrect. Actual link is:

Hi guys:
Did some research and someone told me that "8F" would refer to a 2002 600/750 katana model. As for where to find one, I can hardly help: I have to rely on you guys from usa to get anything ...
Tnx/good luck from "northern" Stef

Did any of you Canadian folks try Ron Ayers. The part there costs 36.33 US and from what I just read the shipping is double what it is for US. THe shipping for me to NY was $8.00 for a total of $44.33/ Here's the link to their sites shipping info. http://www.ronayers.com/info/ship_info.cfm Part # is 13370-8F50 or you can just use the part number from the article here.

Post edited by: Thom M, at: 2006/03/22 21:38

I am going to do this mod., but also add a dial a jet any suggestion on what jets I should get. The dial jet calls for the carb to be on the Verge of lean.

Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

Also found the screws to take the throttle and linkage off is you guessed stripped on the phillips. My thought would be to attempt to slot and remove. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Post edited by: DocShadow, at: 2007/01/04 17:43

For your pic to show up try getting rid of the square brackets that enclose the url.

Have only heard of the odd person using the dial a jet on the R*. I don't see much of an advantage unless you're constantly going up and down high elevations.

Slotting is good.
