I haven't checked that hose yet as I'm unclear about what hose. Is is the one going to the pressure regulator or the atmosphere pressure sensor? Not sure the age of the battery as it came with the bike when I got it a year or so ago. I had it load tested a few months back and it tested good. I did drain both the oil tank and the engine and filled with an even 4 qts. As for the o2s, they are connected and have never been touched by me so I haven't tested them at all.

Yes. The hose is on top of the throttle body right behind the air inlet and goes to the atmospheric pressure sensor.

There are no vacuum lines that goes to the fuel pressure regulator.

Right on thanks. I was just looking at the sevice manual page and saw two hose looking pieces that's why I asked. Whelp I'll get the tank pulled off again this weekend and pray it's just a crap hose. Here in Arizona it's cooling off, perfect for some long rides.

Might as well add this to your mix of problem chasing over here.

Saw the picture of the fuel filter you replaced on RSC's FB page.

I don't think those injectors stood a chance in hell living down stream from that thing.

That's where I'd be concentrating my problem search. Pull the injectors.

Since I'm gonna have the tank off to check that hose anyeay, most definitely will pull the injectors. There's a few centers around me that do through cleaning of injectors for a good price. Couldn't hurt to get them cleaned out.

Injectors have a small screen @ the inlet so if the main filter fails it should catch anything harmful.

I do know Yamaha’s boat engines that are FI have replaceable screens. Hopefully, the motorcycle division came up with the same fix for their injectors.

You can purchase the pump filters from Quantum fuel systems.

He’s already replaced the tank filter (in photo above), but it’s the injector inlet screens we were discussing.
