Quick Clean up for the Front of the Neck

I discovered a neat way to clean up the ugly black neck area of the Road Star. I came up with this idea when I installed a new custom headlight on my roadie, With the stock headlight housing removed it really exposed that area , so I came up with this, I installed a Yamaha chrome push rod tube cover over the neck! Snaps right on like it was made for it!

Good suggestion. I wondering what part is the chrome piece you have under the headlight. Looking to clean up the front end a little.

Custom headlight re-wiring

Hi Guy's I would like to install a custom headlight on my 06 R* classic the one I like Chrome Billet Tri-Bar Headlight 5.75"x8" long.
But before buying it' I looked inside the original headlight by removeing the front cover and there is quite a bit of wiring in there? if I go to the custom light, Can the excess wiring go into the bucket or will it just be exposed be-hide the light? I'm not sure what to do with all that wire.

I am wanting to put chrome forks on my 99 Roadie and am wondering if anyone knows whether chrome forks off of newer Roadie will work on my older one? Any input is greatly appreciated.

Here's one, has anyone ever come across and springers for roadies. Man, I think springers look so retro And would like to put a set on mine. I can get them from a Harley shop, but thinking It would be a lot of fab. I would be willing to try it but think I should explore all my options before going there. This would mean new wheels and brake mounts, the whole works. What do you think? ZZ :zzz
