| Piece of aluminum angle material that is about 1/8 thick and 1 ˝ by 1 inch or so for gauge bracket. |

The hardest part of this project is making the bracket. I used a hacksaw, file and a pair of nibblers to make my bracket. The size is sorta up to you, you can mount the gauge many different ways and in many different positions. The easiest and most straight forwards method would be to use one of the screws which holds the rocker boxes in place. I used a different method but it really doesn’t matter
Remove the exhaust system. I use Bub’s Big Willys and only had to remove the upper pipe.

Image One: this shows the banjo bolt, o ring, banjo fitting and crush washers.

Image Two: Place crush washer on banjo bolt followed by o ring.
The o ring will center the Banjo fitting over the banjo bolt.

Image Three: Place banjo fitting over banjo bolt and add last crush washer.
Replace the oil gallery bolt in the block..

Image Four: Here’s a terrible image of the bracket used.

Image Five. Teflon tape the gauge and add the washer
|
Image Six: Attach gauge to bracket , hold in place with Gauge Adapter.
CAUTION: DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN.
GAUGE USES A HOLLOW BOLT AND IT WILL BREAK (been there, done that)

Image Seven: Where to mount this silly thing. I used the bolt indicated as A.

Be very careful when tightening the bolt that holds the banjo bolt. you can strip the threads out very easily if there isn't enough threads to catch. measure exposed threads compared to the olt you remove to replace with banjo bolt. |

I cant see where oil pressure gauge line is hooked up to.My bike is 2009 and has no oil pressure light on my dash would like to hook up a gauge if knew where to tap the motor for oil pressure |

does any one have any other picture in regards to how this actually goes together cause i really waanna do this cause i souped my roadstar up and i would like to know wat my oil pressures at. a picute of were it actually connects would be awsome thanks |
