Make your own floor board pegs 8 Years, 6 Months ago
This thread discusses the Content article: Make your own floor board pegs

I like the idea of the floor board pegs, I think it'd be comfortable. But I wonder if they scrape a bit on anything greater than a semi tight turn? With the peg sticking out 4-5" from the floorboard, which I drug on my first day/first on ramp with this bike...

Any feedback? thanks

I have the Kuryakyn floor board pegs and they do scrape if I try. But I'm not a corner carver either

Did that when I extended the floorboards forward and tilted them. Spread my crotch out a bit further than I felt comfortable with but it did help to straighten out my legs. Got a crash bar now with pegs mounted to it. Works better for me.

Stress -

Not sure about the floorboard pegs scraping but...I thought about this for awhile before just springing for some pegs...I didn't like the idea of pegs on my highway bars because I didn't want any clutter on the bars and I thought they'd be too far away. So, I figured I might try the floorboard pegs. In the end I never did try them and I just got some Kury offset pegs. I couldn't be happier - They are very adjustable and they compliment the highway bars very well. Since I put them on, I wonder why I ever thought they would look bad and wish I'd have done it sooner. (I had the same exact thoughts about my highway bars)

Good Luck!
