Improving the Look of Your Throttle Lock 8 Years, 4 Months ago
This thread discusses the Content article: Improving the Look of Your Throttle Lock

THANK YOU
This is one great tech tip. I hate that darn bar across the switch cover. Done in about 15 mins, used 8-32 ss screw.

Great looking addition. I could use it because of carpel tunnel and wearing gloves now that it is cold makes it worse.

What kind of throttle lock is it and where did you get it?

I must say, I really like the look of this. I am usually not overly concerned with minor stuff like this, but this really cleans up the look. Thanks!

All Thanks goes to the owner of the tech tip....

Mine is the black plastic throttle lock. My metal brace if a little to wide, I have to stretch my thumb around it to get to the starter. I'll have to find me a smaller brace otherwise works good.
As the tip states DO NOT drill to deep. I drilled mine on the bike to about 1/4 -3/16 dp.

the new support bar pivot when you lock the thumb lever? wondering if using 2 bolts to lock it in place would be better then one single point?
