Re:Moving to Missouri 4 Months, 3 Weeks ago
We we are in Erie Pennsylvania staying in a hotel for the night. Went 460 miles and both the charger r/t and the roadstar are doing fine. Stopped in buffalo to see mom and dad for about 2 hours and they are doing great but wanted us to stay the night and to leave the bike there till spring time. Said thank you but the bike is heading to Missouri with us and we will be okay. Mom is worried but she understands because they use too ride back in the days across the states on a hd heritage special. Still have close to 700 miles to go or 10hrs if riding left. Going to bed now

Turk 56 is in a little town on the west edge of St Louis. I think he is heading down to Eureka Springs on Thursday.

Cool. I'll see what I can do

Made it! Averaged 35 to 40 depending on how fast I was going which was 70 to 80. Bike ran awesome, all I did was stop to get gas on back on the road and the weather was beautiful. Had 3 very close calls but I was way ahead them on knowing what they were going to do.

Offense is the best defense.

That's a good run. I think I'd be ready to get off the bike for a few days.

Yup not in a rush to get back on for few days. Should have left the back rest on because my tail bone was hurting even though I have the ultimate seats on. I also have high visible modular helmet with a bright yellow safety vest, running the driving lights with the high beams on and some cars still could not see me!

no, it's not that they can't see you, it's that they won't see you. Most cagers are like that.

Re:Moving to Missouri 1 Month, 1 Week ago
Well we are moving back to keeseville ny. Nothing here for us anymore. Our daughter son- in law and grandkids are heading to Washington state so nothing keeping us here. Guess you can say this was just a vacation stop. Instead of moving the stuff ourself we had a moving company do it for us this time and on the coldest day. Yesterday it was 8 with a wc of -14. They had 4 guys and took 8 hours to complete which was from 230 pm till 1030 pm. They got a late start because the trucks fuel jelled up.. all 3 of the bikes are on the truck too. None of them would move the roadstar because it was to big for them and did not want to drop it. So I took over when the time came. the wife’s sportster and sons vulcan went on with no problems too. Got my old job back as this is going to a very expensive trip back. Also bought a new home too so everything will be back to normal this time next year
