There are a number of Meet and Greet threads going on ... some are finalized, some are in the "I'd like to ..." stage. We have stickied a number of them but I'd like to put some order to the process.

I propose that ....

You are welcome to send out a feeler thread to gauge interest for a meet and great for a particular area. This thread will not be stickied.

Setting up a M&G is a major event so make sure you are up for it. Ask a member who has already done one to find out how much work it is and how much effort you are willing to put towards make it a success. If you'd like one in your area but don't want to set it up then this is a good time to say that.

Once it's agreed that the M&G will take place , the person who has volunteered to set up the M&G should start a new thread that has this structure .....

Name, Where, Date

Example .... Midwest M&G, Manhattan KS, 27-28 May 2011

In your thread place all the info needed such as where, when, hotels, how to get there, who's confirmed, etc. Folks can then post suggestions, confirm attendance, set up meetings, etc. This thread will be sticked until the M&G is over.

If you decide that T's will be 'provided', then the person who it taking on this task should start another thread to indicate the relevant info and for folks to post that they want one.

If you have any suggestions on how to make the info process easier, clearer don't hesitate to PM me.

Thanks,

Doc
