The only reason the replacement bearings was researched for this application was because of the increased spring pressure in the Barnett clutch could be over taxing the bearing, being similar in design to a stock pressure plate setup. Those bearings weren’t designed to deal with side, thrust loads to begin with, but since a stock clutch’s pressure plate spring is weak to begin with maybe Yamaha got away with using it.

Other than that bearing failing I can see no other part of the clutch needing warranty work.

Just wouldn’t want to have to pull all that stuff back out to replace a crapped bearing.

I’m done.
