Hi is there another place then jetsrus to buy these jets, I've been emailing them all week trying to buy and getting no responce from them, they wont ship to Canada unless I tell them what I want by email and pay by email but getting no answers....

I need the 40 pilot and 170 main and trying desperately to find where to buy this...

Thanks

One possibility is to order them and have them delivered to you c/o the Postmaster in a town just over the border. You'll have to go and fetch them, but it will prove to be cheaper and less hassle. If Champlain works for you, the post office is on the south side of town.

Google those part numbers, and see what comes up. Curt had a place called PJ's I think he ordered stuff from. I'd imagine you can find them on EBay. Use those part numbers, and pick the particular size jet you want, from where ever you find them.

Thanks for the help!! I installed the 2 suggested jets and it runs perfect at idle and also pretty good at full throttle, I think maybe a little bigger main could have worked too but I'm satisfied it runs good!

The 170 Mikuni Main will offer a bit more oomph, but not a lot. I couldn't tell Much difference between the two. Keep in mind 5th gear is an overdrive gear, and it won't be very responsive until you get north of 60, and it still won't pull like the lower gears.

Having tried both, I can tell you the only reason to use the 170 is if you have a 1700 ignition box, in which case it pulls to the rev limiter a little harder in 3rd gear (just a kiss over 90mph) When I installed the 170 I took the shim out from under the needle, left the clip in the 4th groove. I have yet to pull 4th to the rev limiter (4th is slightly overdriven) but have had it to 112 indicated in 4th (105 GPS). I know all I need to know, and the mileage is still good. If you don't have a 1700 box or dyna, and never hit these speeds, a 167.5 is all you need.
