A lot of good info, but some does not apply. The altitude vs jetting is geared to a flat slide carb, not a CV carb which will alter the slide lift relative to the pressure drop across the carb throat. Higher atmospheric pressure will result in a different amount of lift (more lift) than the lower atmospheric pressure of a lower atmospheric pressure at altitude, thus giving less air/fuel flow at a given throttle opening. This is why we don't cut slide springs to increase throttle response time. That spring is designed to work within ambient pressure extremes (not necessarily hurricane level lows) to keep everything in calibration.
