Thanks Rob
That helped, i was thinking more fluid went in the shock itself but it doesn't seem that it does.

Glad you got it done. I need to get those videos onto the webpage.

I think the capacity of that pre-load collar is less than 4 milliliters or so. Plus the capacity of the hydraulic line. I have a 5' line that goes to the pump in my fairing. I filled the whole thing with a small vet syringe. I think it was less than 6 ml total.

You know I had the plastic threaded sleeve get stuck the other day to the top side of the motor, it was so tight and would not let the shock tighten up. It was really tough to just get it loose, after getting it loose I put two fairly stout rubber washers between the sleeve and the top to create a cushion so that it doesn't get jammed. so far it has been working but only time will tell if it continues to work.
Thanks again on the info for the shock.

Hi, guys!

Now I'm thinking about roadwing, because my progressive suspension rear shock starts leaking. And it not working good already.
And it not working good with my heavy fiberglass huge bags and tourpack.

Let me know (sorry, I dont remember) who makes this roadwings??
I need roadwing with electric pump.

Me and my wife are light-weight, but some times heavy load bags.
And there is so big difference in stability, comfort and handling when solo, solo+wife, or +heavy loads.

So, who makes this conversion sets?
AND what price now?

I have +\- buttons on my right handlebar controls, cause its conversion from royalstar.
So I can manage electric pump from my handlebar controls.

PLease, pm me or write to email miragexv@gmail.com

You can try to pm Smokescreens, he's the local expert on the Roadwing shock, or you can simply buy a Goldwing GL 1800 Shock with the electric pump and set it up yourself. There's some really good info in the search forum section.
