What for? the point of the air bag is to replace the spring for air ride. If you need more preload on your shock i would upgrade the spring itself for a ton less work and money.

Forgive me if that sounds like im a arsehole im just really confused and im asking why you would do that.

So my question is this..... HOw much better or worse does it ride in comparison to a roadwing out back and race tech front springs? Is it really not about the ride and just about the look?

I am runing the road wing shock without the spring (but honestly i found a roadwing shock with adjustable rebound control that i run now ) so apples to apples on the dampening they are the same outside of i now have a rebound adjustment advantage. But air ride not only allows me to raise and lower the bike but by its nature when i hit a harsh bump the air spring soaks up the jaring inpact that you would feel with a spring type shock.

I know not every state has bad roads but here in michigan giant pot holes are not uncommon. In fact very often you see bad roads its the salt they use to melt the snow and ice, heavy truck traffic, low road repair budget, ect.

I did look into that bag. Fireztone told me it would be a "special run bag" and they wanted $140 i found this larger bag to use but i still found i was cranking up the psi past the rated pressures so i modded the swingarm so i can raise the bag and get better leverage. Before the change i was at like 170psi with a bag rating of 110psi. Im not a small guy so i needed the extra psi to hold up the bike. Now im at 120psi
