38/40 is plenty of solo pressure, at least for CIIs.

I'm running the Shinko 777 HDs. I'm on my 5th set of 777s and I LOVE how they stick in the turns and even around town, if I have to go easy on the high speed sweepers, then so be it, but I'm not giving up yet.

I plan to change out the oil in my forks and install emulators this summer. I was unaware of the drilling you guys are talking about. Where can I find the instructions to do this before I drop the hammer and buy the emulators?

When I had my Shinko, the higher the speed the worse the problem. Even straight line was unstable. The only cure was to change the tire.

The instructions are on the RaceTech website, but if you search this site, you can probably find a few threads on the subject. Might be worth checking out those threads to familiarize yourself with the process and hear what others have encountered.

I checked YouTube and found a couple videos. Drilling looks pretty straight forward. Thanks.

Not sure how to do that with my iPad. Just search gold emulators on YouTube and several videos will show up.
