Moderators - Suzuki Float Valve 3 Years, 2 Months ago
I just saw another post where someone purchased the Suzuki float valve to go pumpless. It's been what two years now since I posted the information about the Grizzly valve which has almost twice the area of the Suzuki valve. 7.065 vs 4.90 sq mm's. Plus those Suzuki valves cost a lot more than the Grizzly one.

Can an update be put at the beginning of that article so folks don't waste their money on the Suzuki valve?

Doc, It's not a thread, it's an article. mrjeff has it pinpointed.

Also, something about the updated float bowl level for the 1600's should be mentioned.

I ordered mine from my local dealer and it ended up costing almost the same as the ebay one. I'd check with local dealers first.

As long as you're at it, how about Mark Coles $100 Passing Lamps

http://roadstarclinic.com/content/view/222/

It's been brought up a few times that there isn't a single part on the list that is still available.

Thanks!

I don't know Doc, something about the Suzuki valve being outdated and the part # for the Grizzley valve. Toward the end it talks about checking Mr. Tidy's website for the float level specs which might still contain the incorrect level for the 1600's. It was updated back in 2000 to 4 - 5 mm's above the bowl seam.

Something like a string of UPDATE words at the beginning and an explanation about the new valve.
