Great little video SC. Covers the majority of the sounds I hear. First couple of weeks I was a bit worried , but got use to the sounds and understood most were normal, just never knew the source. Now I do. I have found that each bike sings it's own personal song, but the noises you captured are apparently common to us all.

Thanks

After being in the clinic for any length of time, we start to hear questions from new Star owners who are asking similar questions about the same things... the noises a RoadStar will make...
The questions are; There's a knock here or a buzz there... should this be doing that?
To address these questions and maybe a few more... I put my own stock '06 Star in front of a camera and microphone... and created this video... See if you can hear anything familier...
It's about 6 minutes long so grab a drink and enjoy...

Hey, thanks for all the compliments on the video...

The video is 6 minutes long... And my dial-up download time is about 2 hours 45 minutes....
That's way too many beers for tonight,
I'll have a look at the video at work (ultra high speed ) in the morning. Can't wait to see your new RS video!

Hah!
I switched to semi-metalic brakepads at my 600 mile service... (I hate brake dust!)and my Stars' last bath was 300 Miles ago... with "Greased Lightning" on the white walls... That stuff'll take black off coal!
