This goes along with some other questions that have already been asked...As a "general" rule of thumb the more custom a bike is the more uncomfortable it becomes. What do you recommend (as far as rake, stretch, rear tire width, suspension, etc) to your customers that put a lot of miles on a bike?

QUESTION: When we modify our bikes frames, such as raking the neck, when do we cross the line from metric to custom. Thinking along the lines of having to re-title and insurance.

I am just full of questions...
In regards to true dual exhaust...
Do you see any negative aspects to the sharp bend in the rear cylinder's head pipe?

Gosh, your bikes are, well when I see one I say, "That's exactly what I would like to do.". Of course, then I look at a different one and say the same thing.... And Nehmesis, what can I say. I never would have believed that would be a rideable bike.
Question:
Regarding paint, do you ever get into a paint job and just have so sit back and look at it and say, "That sucks.."?

What was your first bike?
What is your favorite all time bike?
What bike do you currently put the most miles on?

When do you feel a bike has to much "bling"? Or is it even possible?

Have you ever run an auto clutch on a bike?
Not everything works like you would like it what was your worst or toughest build?
Do you make an intake or would you make an intake manifold for roadstars with stock or aftermarket carbs ie 42 45?
Any tips or tricks with chrome cleaning or slight light scratches?
Thanks for being willing to share your knowledge with us!

Why do you prefer using the metric platform for building your custom bikes (besides being a dealer for them) over the more traditional Harley platform?
What is your prefered method for polishing rough cast aluminum?
What do you see as being the next big fad in bikes, both factory produced and custom?
What is you opinion on sprotors? Are the a reliable setup for daily driving?
Do you use alot of internal throttle/clutch setups and how are they for long term reliability?

I've been thinking about pulling the oil cooler off my Roadliner for a while. It seems all the parts to do this are available from Yamaha , as the Raider does not have one , and the whole works runs through the adaptor plate (which bolts on both bikes). When you guys built the 'Liner , did you leave it on for any reason other than convenience? Everything else on your Liner was top shelf , and since they don't have them from the factory on the Raider , seems safe to say it could be pulled off the 'Liner , really exposing that big motor. Thoughts? BB

occasionally i get clients in here wanting their bikes modified who have no idea about handling nor steering geometry, and sometimes they get the hump if i refuse to do a modificaton that i think is a bad idea.
sooo.....
how do you guys deal with that kind of situation?
