Hi 2 all;
Great mods, however a bit pricey up here in Québec...Especially if you order the needle from a Suzuki dealer (50.00$CDN).Anyone knows the bike model/year this part goes to? I could look for aftermarket alternatives...

Tnx many times, Stef

Bought mine for $27.00 from the local Suzuki dealer.

Zombie Thread!

I did this mod and just love the results.

http://bobbersyouruncle.blogspot.com/2014/09/water-flows-downhill.html

I didn't reset the float level as it was running fine before.

I ordered the larger float bowl jet: 2c6-14190-30

I also reused the existing filter, metal fuel line between the cylinders and cut the rubber fuel line as needed.

I relocated the choke and reused the existing choke bracket, cutting it off the bottom of the fuel pump hanger. In my setup, I was able to attach it to the air filter mount on the RH side.

Nice twist on the pumpless mod. I like it. Moved my choke under the seat on the left side using a 650 V-Star choke assembly, but I think I like yours better.

Thanks, RemZac and pobasturd.

The choke mount solution isn't universal as such. It worked in my particular case with the air cleaner/ram jet thing (not my mod, came with bike). But the choke bracket cut off the bottom of the fuel pump mount had a couple of nuts welded to it and it could be mounted in other ways. My way made the most sense given the circumstances.

I will replace the "giant" fuel filter with something more presentable, but I'm on a shoestring budget right now.

I don't have a filter right now. Probably will get this cleanable one from Pingle:
http://www.canadasmotorcycle.ca/pingel-in-line-fuel-filter-5-16in-aluminum-machined-satin-finish-fuel-filter-ss1p.html
or
http://www.amazon.com/Pingel-In-Line-Fuel-Filter-Satin-Finish/dp/B000GTYSK8/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top
I like to have something in the line just in case.

I would personally never run with out an inline filter. i was stranded on the side of the road 20 miles south of Cuba New Mexico. DESERT! Plugged fuel filter. Would not bypass it because I did not want to get the crap in those four carbs on my Goldwing. Brother rode into Cuba and got an Auto filter that would work. If you are getting your fuel from the same place constantly you can probably get by. But out on a road trip sometimes you get fuel that is not exactly clean... That is what happened to me.
