What: 2 days of great riding in the beautiful State of Oregon! This is a Roadstar Clinic meet but any and all bikes welcome (HD's try to keep up and bring a drip mat!) Kidding!
Where: Albany, Oregon @ MikeyC's work place, 1650 Waverly Dr. SE
When: July 13th to 16th, 2017.
Rides:
Friday, July 14th,
The covered bridge and ferry tour! Kickstands up at 9am. We will be crossing the Buena Vista ferry and on to several other historic covered bridges in the mid-Willamette Valley with a stop for lunch overlooking Foster Lake. After lunch we will have a scenic ride back to the start point with a stop overlooking the valley. After the ride we will meet back at the start point. We can decide on a place to go for dinner as a group. You can just do the ride or meet afterwards and just dinner and visit and decide on breakfast the next morning. This ride will be about 140 miles in length
Saturday, July 15th,
The Mary’s Peak coastal run! This will be a full day so please, Kickstands up promptly at 9am, Please make sure you are topped off with fuel in Albany before you arrive. We will be riding to the top of the coast range mountains through a scenic twisty ride to the top of Mary’s peak, Back down through the scenic Hwy 34 Alsea River Hwy, out to Waldport and up the coast and stop for lunch at the Rogue Nation Brewery. From there we will have a fuel stop at the 105 mile mark, and inland up through Siletz to Kernville. From there we will go back down the coast with a stop at Depoe Bay for Ice Cream. A trip through the Otter Crest scenic loop and back to Newport and head east back to Albany and we will meet back at the start point. We will have BBQ hamburgers and hot dogs along with side dishes and visit after our ride. Join us for the ride or meet for BBQ afterwards or both! This ride will be along the coast and about 240 miles in length. We may have some adjustments due to time but expect plenty of time to take in the views during the day.
Accomodations: There will be 2 RV's with bed space available on a First come first serve basis. We have a single bunk left in Mikes trailer and a single and queen bunk in Jaybo's. PM them for more info.

Added some more details to the event, deleted Hendog who is unable to get away, and lettting you all know I posted the event in the RSC Facebook group as well, so we expect a few more riders from that!

A few of us will be meeting up Thursday afternoon & evening at Mikes place for BS'ing and maybe dinner, talk about the planned rides, etc.

I'm still working on this. Hoping I can make it. Just dealing with time and money.
I'm thinking about camping at the KOA on Oakville Rd. About 9 miles from MikeyC's address. It's about $100 for the whole stay. Any thoughts on that place?

I have heard its a nice place. If your bringing an RV just park in the parking lot with the others, or just grab a bed in one that is already here. If you just have a tent pitch it in my back yard. We have options.
