Not quite there yet. I kinda like the fact that I bought this with 0 miles and have done everything the way I wanted it done. I'm sure that makes sense. I can't complain about the reliability of the FI system either. Just the fact that it is untuneable. I just need to accept the fact that the power that it has will have to be enough. It sounds cool, looks cool, and seems to be very reliable for long trips, which I do a few of every year. So, reliability is more important than a few extra ft/lbs and horses. It just rubs me wrong that I can't improve it, ya know?
I guess the only thing I can add to the stew is one of these..
I have the GEN 2 version, but now I see there's an updated, GEN 3 version.
I paid $25 for mine new off eBay which was the only reason I went for it and fooled with it some, but without proper measurement reading tools I was all over the map
and just unplugged the ground wire. It's still there if I want to dive back into messing with it. I did get rid of the 'off idle' stumble, but the Red pot was the one giving me fits. Too rich and either I had that circuit kicking in too soon or too late.
Like I said, I just didn't have the means, or patience, to jack with it.
