This thread discusses the Content article: Upgrading the Front Suspension

New here, but saw some posts about shake and wobble in the front ends @ various speeds(mostly around 45).I would almost bet the culprit is loose steering head bearings. They were probably ok from the factory, but as the front end settles(breaks in) the bearings seat and more play results.the fix would be to remove the top triple clamp, loosen the lower pinchbolts, and tighten the bearings a bit.You can do whats called a "fall over test" to see if you got'em too tight or more tightening is needed. We just bought a used '07 RoadStar, and the str head bearings were so loose it clunks going over bumps(plus wobbles @ around 45 under decel).Good luck and ride safe!!!!!!!!
