Digger,

What are you trying to do in this thread with three failed pic tests?

Kat

Thanx for the input, I am installing the lamps on my 06 roadie and it worked like a charm!!! I do have a couple questions though.

1. The rubber fitting in turn signal does come out, but is there anything to replace it? Or can I just use some sillicone?

2. How tight do I make the "special screw"?

Thanks for any help.

Great tip.....wish I'd found it about seven days ago!!!!! Since I will surely have to readjust them, I'll try it then. Right now I'm still praying for forgiveness for all the names I called my R* during the near divorce while installing my lamps!!!!!

I just pushed the turn signal up as tight (no gaps at all)to the adapter, then tightend the bolt up. This takes some manuevering with your whole body. Make sure no ones around or they'll laugh!!! You look like your having an out of body experience. My wife nearly split her wig laughing @ me!! A small layer of clear silicone would help though. Great idea!!

Wish I had thought of that a year ago or seen it when I put mine on and fiddled around forever getting it adjusted

Does anyone still have the drawing showing how to use the tubing? The link for the picture is broken.
Thanks.

Kurtk127!

I have the Cobra lamps so I really can't help much with the OEM......we'll bump this one up again and see if someone else can help out!...This thread is an old thread, and don't know if the pic exist anymore, but maybe someone else will have some input!
