Well Doc, I am Certainly incorrect then, I never looked into SVS cure as mine was plugged so solid from leaking intake, I had to have the motor rebuilt under the warranty. So I had no idea. But had someone said it was a cure for a slipping clutch, I would have put it in last year. Now someone mention it. Few people tried it and no one locked up their motors. I'm still sorry I mentioned it. I will use it every oil change though.

With nothing to lose, I was going to buy a clutch anyways, I tried and it worked. Same as Darkside tires, and rear tire on the front...... But I seriously regret mentioning such a cure here on the clinic. Should have been a PM type of thing.
may i make the suggestion that you mellow out a bit?
you´ve mentioned and posted some interesting stuff on this site, but if someone shows another opinion that deviates 2mm from what you posted, you get the hump.
we are all fallable, and we are all never correct all the time. this is why this site exists as an interchange of ideas and solutions.

i have an 01 silvererado with V&N longshots. I also have a hypercharger installed. Whenever Im in 4th or 5th and Give the throttle a good twist such as in a passing situation It have seems to be clutch slippage (engine RPMs increases but acceleration is not what it should be) The bike has 12500 miles on it. MY main question which seafoam product did You use and also have you had any problems. Thanks

Well Since I have clutch slippage since opening up the intake and re-jetting the carb, I tried the seafoam in the oil. it improved a bit but still slips. 17,000+ miles on a 99 R* Silverado. I have run about 150 miles on the seafoam. Oil change tomorrow to AmsOil 20/50 and maby a Barnett Spring Plate upgrade is in order.

Drats, yea, my experience was a quick fix, I noticed in like, blocks, 150 miles should of done it, not to say that new oil might not help more.
I put crap Shell dino knockoff oil (of proper spec) in thinking I was just going to do a flush. It's doing so well, I'm leaving it in the whole 3K miles. If it does this well when it gets hot out, (It's very quiet now) I would really consider the Shell game! (Pun)
BTW I have 35K miles @ least 75% of that 2 up and 25% of that like fully loaded. So 17K miles and slipping clutch is way too soon. My dealer has a better clutch plate (I think a Warrior one or something like that) he said a lot of guys put on a Road* and it's like $80
