If I wanted to get higher speed at lower RPM and I have no interest in quick starts, would I move up a tooth? Obviously no genius here, but it seems to me that the laws of physics dictate more teeth at the front for faster rotation at the rear.... I'm looking for running my gears out a bit further on the top end. I find myself often between gears at certain, pretty common speeds.
