Carb problem 2 Years, 10 Months ago  
Hello, ive had my bike sitting for about 2 months now. Went to start it today and had gas running out of my air cleaner..alot of gas..what could it be?

Stuck carb float. Try tapping on the side or bottom of the carb bowl to see if it knocks the float loose. If not, then you'll have to open the carb and clean it up. That's my guess worth 2 cents.

Yep... Tap on that bowl with a screwdriver handle. Once its running, get some cleaner in the gas.

You have your answers. Should always put something like Staybil in the gas if it is going to sit for any length of time.

Could be a dried and cracked o-ring on the float valve leaking.

Ok, so I took the carb off, and ended up dropping the carb on my bench and cracked the float. Bought a new one, replaced it..cleaned everything up. Installed the carb back on the bike and the same thing happened again, gas pouring out of the air cleaner.

Pull the float needle/seat out and look for a bad oring on it.
