Re:wider front tire 5 Years ago
I am running a 150- on the front and a 160 on the rear. The bike handles great, and is more stable in cross winds and passing trucks on the INterstate. They are Radials!

Re:wider front tire 5 Years ago
is your 150 front an actual front tire or a rear tire reversed?

Re:wider front tire 5 Years ago
The front tire is an actual rear tire...the front is a commanderII and at 41psi it rides real good.I live in Western N.C. and ride the dragon and other twistys around here and it does real good,no matter if im 2 up or not.

Re:wider front tire 5 Years ago
I am running a FRONT TIRE on the front. Avon Av71 150/80/R16! Can't get myself to even consider running a rear tire in reverse on the front! Just goes against my better judgement. Especially when they make a front tire in that size.

Re:wider front tire 5 Years ago
I am running the Shinko Journey SE890 160/80/R16 on the rar. I am not a big fan of Shinko but when they came out with this tire recently I thought I would try one. It has 3k on it an no complaints yet. I have the AVon Cobra AV 71 in the 150 radial on the front. No mods to install just put them on and go. They handle better than average. And look correct on the bike, not like some southern ingenuity. Here are some links.
