I would love to add one of the OLD VALKIES to the stable. But not this plastic pile of crap. There's a gal that rides an older, I think interstate at the bread store down the the street. She keeps it immaculately beautiful, just cant say the same for herself

I was with my cousin at the Honda dealership when he was buying his 4 wheeler. They had a brand new 96 Valk sitting on the floor. I remember thinking "1520 cc? Who would ever need an engine that big on a motorcycle!" Now I'm trying to think of ways to justify why I need to upgrade to a Strat to my wife.

There are three ways of doing things. The right way, the wrong way, and then there is the Norwegian way.

I test rode a Strat before finding a deal on a Roadie, I just done see enough difference in power to change. Now if its the retro looks I could see that but the difference in my 06 carbed R* and the 09 injected Strat seemed very minor.

Not trying to argue , but my well worked 1700 didn't hold a candle to my stock Liner. My Liner would stomp a hole in my Roadie. And it out handled it to boot.

Keeping the thread on track , the new Valk reminds me of Sam the eagle from the muppets.....

Saw and sat on one at the International Motorcycle show in Seattle last month. Hated the look and the seating feel. They screwed it up adding all the shrouding and plastic.

Derailed, don't ever try to race a Liner. The difference in power is black & white. Kai
