After losing my 08 in a fire two weeks ago I have been looking at the Magnum, should be getting one next week. I am going to miss my Roadie, but after slowly getting it to where I wanted it, I do not feel like starting over. I feel the insurance is taking care of me, so I figured it is time for something new!

I didn't buy one this weekend. Didn't like the deals right now. Looking at maybe a used one, found a Cross Country Tour 2013 with 8k on it for $12,500 private party seems a lot better than $23k new

I bought a 2013 as well. Not much has changed on them, so you are basically getting the same bike. Mine already had the stage 1 performance done and tri-oval exhaust.

Sounds like a pretty good deal to me. Last July, I bought a '13 XCT with 4400 miles for 14K. Rolled over 12,000 Memorial Day. It already had a few upgrades to it (stage 1 pipes, filter and flash, bag liners, etc.) and so I still feel I did pretty well. Of course...I couldn't leave well enough alone. I've since added a lower seat, stebel horn, modular bars, Madstad windshield, Lloyd's adjustable timing wheel and filter, and a fuel processor...just never ends!

At this rate we may need our own Victory sub-section. haha

So is there a "go to seat" for Vic's like E.D. or something? Does the seat heater still work with it?

I am ordering the blacked out LED. It is damn sexy.

I guess it depends on how much you want to spend. I just bought the extra low seat w/o the heat. I figure I can put the stock one back on for winter if I think it's cold enough. I bought mine from PartsPitStop.com. Here's a link:
http://www.partspitstop.com/oemcatalogs/p/victory_motorcycle_2015_cross_country_magnum_plasma_lime/victory_accessories-seats_backrests/545a511f6d81f597389faf2e/cross-country-super-low-seat-black
It seems their prices are better than most any other supplier for some of the accessories. Shipping is a bit, but if you combine several items at once, it doesn't change the shipping cost much at all. It was only $239 plus shipping. They have the heated version for $479. I just liked the lower seat height without messing with a lowering link and loosing cornering clearance. There's a lot of choices out there, but I haven't set on any as I was really pleased with the stock seat comfort on our long ride home after Eureka Springs last fall.

On another note, davej already pointed out that we'll probably have a Polaris parking section!

Karen's Magnum is in the background of this pic.
