I'm 28, got my first dirtbike at 6 and have been riding since.. Had two HD's, sold both, bought the R* and another HD. After riding on the street for a little over 10 years, I figured this past summer would be a great time to get a permit and then a license. As long as I can breathe, I'll be riding.

38 here - First got on a 125cc Kawi dirt bike when I was 8. I had to stand on a 5 gallon bucket with one leg to get the other over the seat while my two buddies balanced the bike. It was one of my friends' big brother's bike and I hit the throttle and let out the clutch and ran *SMACK* into a tree. Been hooked ever since.

I haven't really been without a bike since I was 12. I got my motorcycle endorsement the day after I passed my license test.

I'll be 71 this coming February, started riding when I was 16, stayed a few years in the military and got out in 64'. I rode Ducati's on dirt and track. I just never cared for the cruiser/club scene.

On a whim I bought a cruiser and it was a fit and been riding cruisers ever since. I'm still working full time and like to work in my shop when I can, my two boys have bikes so we ride together sometimes, otherwise I just ride by myself.

32 here. Been riding ATV's all my life. Started on sport bikes when I was 25, survived that for a few years and figured it was time to get something more comfortable and less tempting to do stupid things. Bought my R* and living happily ever after... Has anyone gone through all the posts to figure out the average???
