Looks like HD is coping the Yamaha Road Star now. Looks kind of like my custom Road Star don't it. We are miles ahead of them. They even went to 4 valves now. GO FIGURE!

Hey Curt, I like yours better. Looks like they stuck a RAP unit in there, and called it their own.

I think the rear part of the swing arm is a massive departure from the "traditional" hardtail look ( like on our bikes). They did make sure to cover that fact with the exhaust system in every iteration, otherwise it might look too much like a Jap bike. Wet sump is nice, no more hot oil tank to cook your leg. No mention of the prices, they mentioned weight loss but not price loss. If they actually do handle better remains to be seen, I'll wait for reviews from some more objective sources. Hard to think of a Dyna without shocks. Aren't they just more Softails now? What ever.

I do have to agree about that fender being up way too high on the rear wheel

I agree. Harley sold much of the same old same old for a long time. Now if they could just do something with their pricing.

Well I got to give em credit for trying something new for them even if it copies what is selling in other brands. Price is one thing that will never go down. Still like the old styles just not the price.

I appreciate my Road Star more than ever after viewing the new line up. Nice to see Harley trying new things. The Road Star was way ahead of its time.

How can you be way ahead of you time with a retro bike?
