Time for new pipes 2 Years, 7 Months ago
Hi guys I'm hunting for new exhaust pipes for my 99' was thinking of True duels with the fishtails. If anyone can point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated . The other major problem is I'm in Australia

freedom pipes are the most popular true duels on here. The second most popular would be the bassani's. Both have fishtails available, but i'm not sure if they are available in Australia

I agree with Cike here, I have the Freedoms. They sound amazing and hearing these bikes in Stereo is great! If a supplier won't ship to Australia, find a member here and ship to them, then just pay the additional freight to get to you. (Just make sure it's a member who already has duals, lost in transit isn't something you want to hear ).

I've had bassani fishtails. nice looking pipes but too quiet, as the baffles are not removable in those mufflers. then I went to freedoms with the 4" racing mufflers. love them. removable baffles and removable tips, so I can get 3 different sounds whenever I want.

From my understanding Bassani has two different tips as their crossover pipes and mufflers are seperate. People have put HD mufflers on Bassani crossovers and really loved the sounds.

+1 the 4" racing duals are awesome. Call SS Customs, they have the best price. Shane is a great guy.Dsedwy wrote:

Thanks guys I will probably have to wait a bit as the Aussie dollar is so crap at the moment so I'm going to be looking at around $1800 shipped to Australia. I'll just have to keep annoying my neighbors with the short shots
