Guys I don't beleive in Road Gremlins either, but like the fellowship of the road aspect of giving a fellow biker a bell so that they know they belong to something larger. Wow getting philosophical this morning. We are all in the wind together and the bell is just a symbol of that shared experience.

Got me one during a rally last year.....didn't know then the significance of riders having one till I saw the post on this forum last year.

Yeah, I can say they might help besides remembering our lost riders ! A cager cut me off last Oct. 2nd on the way home from work causing me to go down in the fast lane of I-10 during Fri afternoon rush hour traffic and I wasn't turned into "Texas Roadkill" for some reason, figure I gots some unfinished business to stick around for yet. I do keep mine polished and remember those who haven't been so fortunate as I do. Also have a crucifix on the buckle of my tool bag !

Re:Do you have a riders bell 6 Years, 9 Months ago
Hey everyone,

If anyone is in need of paying it forward, I could sure use some fellow rider luck passed my way. I just recently picked up my R* on Saturday and it's my first "cruiser". I've had a couple of sport bikes which, one I have been down on. I figured with the added weight of a cruiser and having a 2 year old little girl who counts on me to come home every time I go out, I could use all the luck I can get. I may just have to put bells all over the bike to warn other riders/cagers that, "New Cruiser Guy Here, Please Move or Look Out!" Anyway, if anyone would like to help, it would be greatly appreciated and of course, I will pay it forward as well.

Thanks,
Throwback

This is great bikers sharing the tradition. I have a couple of bells in my saddle bag all the time. If there is a biker in need, send me a PM and I will send a bell.
