This has been addressed in the future transition of RSC, So many people now have ad blockers that the revenue RSC used to get has gone down significantly. I wondered when PB would either go belly up or go pay service since the bandwidth alone has to be huge. Even Google doesn't allow you to 3rd party host. I've got my own domains I can host my pictures on if needed so I'm not too worried, but yeah, the huge amount of photo info will be forever lost since so many users have moved on and are no longer active. There were some pretty sharp folks back in the day and their contributions will be partly lost. We all love "free" internet stuff, but the internet is not without its costs. Of course if we would have just went with Bernie it would all be FREE! Everything Free! Wheee!!

OK OK... I don't know what the answer is but I'm sure there is going to be a serious blowback on PB for suddenly doing this after a decade of allowing it. I will be pulling all of my stuff off of there and closing my accounts. I'm sure I won't be alone.

I am not sure but I think the tech articles are hosted on the clinic server so they will be ok. you guys working on the transition would know I guess, I'm not up on this stuff..........
