Has anyone tried Baron's Torquemaster? 2 Years ago
|

Frankly it sounds like a load of boloney, but for $20, if it does make a difference it might be worth trying. So has anyone here had any experience with this?

I have heard of them but I don't think I know anyone that has tried them so let us know how it works. We elect you to be our guinea pig . They been selling them for quite some time

Do you think it's supposed to work just like a Mikuni Yost?

The Yost is a true atomizer that is better than the OEM tube but the torque master is bunk it only spins the air fuel mixture in one direction. Might work good in onw head runner buts backward in the other head runner if you follow my meaning. I love my Yost Tube but it is overpriced.

My bike had one in there when I bought it. Put about 200 miles on it with it in there. Then another 100 miles after the "Trans Recall" (new rings... etc.) Rebuild really woke the bike up. Pulled the "Torquemaster" and put another 200 miles on it. I do not notice any difference at all.
The Irony is that everyone want's to port there intake to get rid of turbulence, then they add a "torquemaster" to create a turbulent vortex at the intake.
Go figure

Barons used to state in their Vortex ad to NOT USE IN A PORTED MANIFOLD, don't think they do that any more. Been a few years that they haven't put that in.

We port the square cut manifold to enhance volumetric efficiency, not to kill off beneficial turbulence, which you will still get with a sandpaper finish inside.

C'mon, don't be a Doc, do all your brethren here a favor... get some baseline pulls in... install the Torquemaster, and have 'em do some pulls again!
We're all waiting!
