Trike conversion 1 Year, 8 Months ago
i'm wanting to trike my 2008 roadstar Silverado , I'm looking at the Frankenstein kits. Does anyone have this kit or knowledge of them and I need information on installing 14 in. Ape hangers like what bars are best and more importantly what lengths of cables and who sells the best. I know this ape hanger question probably has been beat to death in the past but I can't find any specs on what length is required.

Sorry I can not answer your question, but I'm sure you will get lots of help.
You have been a member since 2013, and this is your first post? You are really good at staying in the back ground.

As far as apes go I bought LA Choppers 1 1/4" so I could run the wires inside the bars. You can use any HD bars but some have a different spacing on your risers and will require a little work on stock one piece risers. The apes I vought fit the one piece riser with no problem. If you Google Metric magic and talk to Tim he'll fix you right up on he correct cables and with well made cables. He also sells apes. I can't help you on the trike.

That's a beautiful kit some quality looking shit there. I'm sure you have already researched the web and looked at the other kits available.

Trikes have only three wheels. Bikes with training wheels have four!

Most trike kits recommend raked tree for better steering, and usually not included in kits.
