Honestly I do not know if the PO had the bike jetted. At any rate the bike runs like a champ with no back fire, no loss of power or anything. The bike still has its fuel pump and AIS installed. I am wanting to go with the freedom true duals because I want to run hard bags and maybe a bad dad rear fender. You may be ok. Otherwise, there are plenty of members in your area to help you out if you're not familiar with jetting, AIS removal, and pumpless (if you choose that). Many will argue, but AIS and Pumpless are two mods I'd do without hesitation. I popped on decel constantly, and also the occasional backfire. If you're going with duals and all that stuff, why not upgrade the air box too? Those slash cut cobras are such a pain to tune for. My bike ran like garbage til I got rid of them and rejetted the carb.   Logged     There are three ways of doing things.
