I got home from work tonight and wifey wasn't home. Can you say awesome? So I get right to work on my bike project. tonight is surface the manifold night. I go to the house and get a bucket of hot soapy water and back to the shop I go. I drop in my freshly ported manifold and let it soak. I finally get a rag and some more dish soap and get to scrubbing. My hands are getting cold and I need new water to rinse it off and that's when it hit me. She ain't home. Off to the kitchen sink I go. I get to rinse this thing in an endless supply of hot running water. I then get another bucket of clean hot water and my new wet/dry sandpaper and off to the shop I go. I surface the manifold and rinse it off good and set it on a rag to dry. I did a few other things and head back to the house to find a mad wife. She said the house stinks and I ruined her curtains. I asked how I ruined her curtains and she said they will stink from now on. At first I thought she went overboard but after washing my hands several times they still smell like gas. I guess it's time to hit the ole flower store. LOL

That's not as bad as what I did. I was in the garage and decided to spry some clear paint. A short time later the wife walked out to see what I was doing. She smelled the paint and zoom back in the house. Mind you we both have COPD and she has had a lung collapse twice on her and she just got out of hospital last month and is on oxygen 24/7. She is now having coughing fits and coughing up crud that has been in her lugs for a long time. I feel like a dummy because ANY kind of perfume , fumes or any of thos candle hurt her badly.

Yes but we both just got over a bad bought with something that bordered on `pneumonia. I know it hurts to cough that hard and that much. Makes me feel bad that I caused it.

I'm a die maker in a production shop , I use cutting fluids and cutting oils all day long , when I come home the wife says I smell , little does she know I smelled before I met her.........
