If the hard bags use the same mounts as the tour classic bags the guards should bolt right up. The guards mount to the bag mounts. Something about the hard bags that won't let them work?

There are some members here that have the wrap around type of saddlebag guards for the Hard Bags, but I think they are different then the saddlebag guards for the tour classic bags. You'll either have to get the brackets for the tour classic bags and adapt the hardbags you have to them or drill a hole thru your present brackets so that a bolt will fit to the saddlebag guards...

Front side of bracket...

rear side of bracket...

Are these the tour classic brackets or the silverado brackets?
