Surely someone has mounted these bags 10 Months ago
Has anyone mounted heritage bags on their star? I have been searching the net and can find a only a couple pics of road stars with these bags and no threads on it.
Heritage bags have their brackets riveted to the back on the bags. So I'm wonderful my if people are modifying those brackets or removing them and making their own mounting system?
Surely someone knows something about doing this.

Heritage bags always seem to get real frumpy looking after awhile. Do you just like the look, or do you already own a set.
These are real nice, and would look killer on your bike, and a good price if you where interested.

Or these if you like the Heritage bags.

A buddy has a set of like new takes offs that I can have if I want them. I like the way they look in mock up (see below)
I have been wanting to mount a set of these on a road star since back when I had Misfit.
(along with a set of duals)
It would take some work but it looks like I could make a bracket to mount them but, I wanted to see if anyone had done this or had any tips before I start cutting up the stock bracket thats mounted to the bags now.

I only mounted them once. But I was kind of drunk. Does that count?

Did they complain, or did they like it?

Figures it would take. Topic like that to bring you out of hiding... now we know what you've been doing while you've been away
