Michelin Commander II's are very popular around here. It's what I run also. I run a 140/90-16 based on JD's recommendation and would recommend it also. Little bit slick while riding in the rain but just ride a bit more concervative and they're fine. I have a tendency to push things a little hard; I'm guessing most people wouldn't even notice the reduced traction in the rain. Get great mileage out of them as well

Also, I run the rear at 42psi and that seems about perfect for these tires. Get a good quality gauge if you don't already have one and check pressures often. I'm a bit OCD when it comes to tire pressures also.

Last thing, I've always bought them at motorcyclesuperstore.com. Might be able to find them a couple bucks cheaper elsewhere but they ship free and fast and have always done well by me. Others here have used jakewilson.com with good luck I believe.

Lot of people here like the MC IIs, I've had good luck with Shinko 777 HDs. Whatever you choose, it's best to match it with the front. Chaparral Motorsports is another good place, along with Motorcycle Superstore.

Motorcycle Superstore is also a good place to buy regardless of the brand you choose.

Another Michelin Commander II fan here. 40PSI in the front and 42 PSI in the rear.

I get mine from jakewilson.com

Michelin c2's here also. I like them so much that i purchased one for the 2nd roadie even though its wider yhan i really wanted to go. It might end up changing how i handle my rear lighting but i would rather have those tires on my bike than any other.

What difference does it make if the front and rear don't match? Mine rarely do and it never seems to matter.

I buy all my mc tires from Dennis Kirk with best prices and really fast delivery.

For my rear, I use an Austone. Hard to beat.
