Just a note here but when working in two tire stores over the years, if a car tire needed a lot of weight in one area, We would break the bead and then reposition the tire on the rim and reseat. It does happen at times that the heavy area of a rim will line up with the heavy part of a tire.

I'm using Ride On for the sake the sealing properties, but Dyna Beads should still balance.

The videos explaining the principle is interesting.

I've never heard bad things about either, where did you hear negatives?

I googled Dyna Bead reviews

There's a bike shop here that will install Ride-On in both tires for $30.00! Thought that was a pretty good deal?
The service tech told me that it is best to leave the weights on the wheels even when putting Ride-On in? Has anybody heard anything different?
The instructions for Rids-on do not mention anything about weights that are on the wheels

The service tech is an id......is still on the learning curve. He may also have some sort of reading disorder, unless it's his girlfriend's tweets about the kind of underwear she's wearing.
Add the proper amount plus 25% for both puncture resistance, and balancing. Go to RideOn's website and read their info completely. *Remove the weights from the wheels. RideOn handles the balancing. If they're supplying the RideOn, and installing it, that's not so awful. Considering all you do, is remove the valve core and squeeze the bottle until the bottle is empty and the RideOn is in the tire or tube, and reinflate the tire, it could be worse.
The tires on our bikes will take 10 ounces in the front and 12 ounces in the back(if your doing both balancing and puncture resistance. I usually use three 8 ounce bottles for both tires. Don't throw the little dab left over away, there's lenty of room for 2 ounces, between two tires. Do it right, and you won't have any left over

I took all my weights off when I put the Ride On in. I used 25% more like SKWEARpeg suggests and I have absolutely no issues with my tires (Commander II's) - no weird vibration or unusual or uneven wear, and I think it actually extends tire life a bit.
