#1020315 brad_g (User) Junior Boarder Posts: 123 Plates 6 Months ago   Just curious how the different states/countries vary in the cost of putting plates on your bike. Here in Iowa my plates are $10 annually for license. Last week I was in Kansas visiting my brother-in-law and he indicated that he was paying a lot more than that. He was mentioning some sort of tax and I wasn't sure if that was a one time fee or reoccurring. For some reason $400 sticks in my mind. Was hoping Kaidallac might be able to chime in. Especially as his new ride should be coming in shortly. BIL has a Street Glide. When I get a new bike the registration cost will be based upon the sale price. If you buy in the middle of a registration cycle, the $22 is pro-rated.   Logged     This fits in here, right? Oh yeah, $138 per year (yeah I have a personalized plate-so it's a little more expensive).
