Here's a thought...You could also list on Ebay. I'm sure there are numerous roadstar owners that would be interested in them. Unfortunately, you need to get them manufactured first. Just trying to help.

EBay would definitely be a good source for future sales as well as posting on other Yamaha RS Forums etc. As much as I am asking for feedback from RS owners liking this bar enough to consider purchasing one, I also don't want to put the cart before the horse...then look like an a$$...if you know what I mean. Hopefully, the feedback and response from members on this forum will give me enough information to decide whether or not to move forward and spend the money to have these produced.

I know I'm gonna want one. I want to be able to go back and forth from 2up to 1up without having to change the eyebrows. I prefer the more substantial look of the bolt on backrest vs the quick change. Just like I prefer the Landon style grab bar vs the one in the link someone posted earlier.
So yeah, I'd pay $175 for one. Might even get a few more as an investment just in case you get out of the business later!
