Rustyjeep, Is the clear cover the sunbaked part or the actual odometer dial the part you refer to. If it is the clear cover I bet someone on the forum has one from changing one that had bad electronics. Littlebull

It's the actual odometer lens thats unreadable.

Rustyjeep, Searched Roadstar Speedometer and found some empty housings with the lense. If nobody has one on here from changing a bad speedo out try item number 162113802427 or 302225823364 on ebay. Littlebull

thanks for the part#'s, but it's the actual odometer that is unreadable.The thin plastic cover on the odometer blistered and bubble from prolonged sun exposure. I took it all apart it hopes that I could just remove the bad part,and as luck would have it it disintegrated when I touched it.You cant tread the numbers without that LCD cover. If I put my sun glasses on and hold my head at just the right angle I can barely make out the numbers. I just cant get enthused about dropping that kind of coin on a 13 year old used part.This so called "good deal" is turning out to be costly. Oh well I enjoy tinkering and spending time in the shop.
