Haven't ridden in 30 yrs. First sat on a Road Star at a dealership and felt it was too big to start with. Bought a 1200 Custom Sportster, rode it 3 times and realized my mistake.
Last week i went back to the dealership and bought the Road Star. A 2010 siverado s with 1200 miles. Anyone want to buy a Sportster? I'm 5'6'and have ordered the rear slam kit from Pacific Coast. A set of Barons 2 inch pull back risers from JP Cycles and am looking hard for a better seat. Being cheap, I'm looking for used. I figure i have a few months to look. Would like a Corbin Classic Solo or an E.D. Standard. Come the end of march, I'll buy new. In the meantime, I'll have fun looking.
I'm sure some of the same guys are on here, as are on Road Star Riders. Already got lots of great info and am looking forward to learning more.
