Wow. Awesome. Love that you stuffed a Chev 5.7L into a 70s Dodge (and your list of reasons for doing so...especially the "piss off the Mopar guys".

That thing is going to be eating a lot of tires...haha!

Funny you mention that... I did a burnout, then my buddy did a burnout in my car, then my other buddy did a burnout in his GTO, another did one in his Grand National, and then 2 others in their chevelle's.... right when the last guy finished, he pulled the car into the shop driveway and got out, a cop rolls slowly through the remaining smoke looks at us and shakes his head. He said he could hear us all the way across the freeway. LOL The local police already know us and don't bother us much because we aren't really problem guys. We don't street race in the day, we wait till 2 am and take it out to a country road hahaha

Dude! That is one sweet ride! My wife also approves (she's a die-hard Mopar girl), even though it's got an LS in it, she still thinks it's cool

Re:MY LSX DODGE PROJECT 3 Months, 1 Week ago
Well, I haven't updated this in a while... but I was cruising the car for a bit. I was going to paint it gunmetal but after spraying a test panel had a change of heart. I went with a completely different color I had custom made and threw a little flake in it. I had my hesitations but was reminded by my cousin that I am known for extreme/different colors and looks... I've done paint before but this is my first time doing metal work, body work and paint completely by myself. Here goes nothing:

A little update on the car and mods I did to the body:

Shaved drip rails (gutters)
Shaved antenna
Shaved top mounted indicators
Shaved front and rear marker lights
Shaved all moldings, trim and emblems

Original color choice:

The final color is an olive green metallic I had custom mixed specifically to my vision.

On to the color:
