You guys sure build them differently in you're part of the country. Here we start with the slab then build on top of it.
Google Pole Barn (although Pole Dancer does provide more interesting results..)
What will power all that PEX?
(You have time to screw around with all of this, but can't make Celina...? : )

Big reason I didn't make it to Celina. This has been my life focus for several months. A circulator pump will power all that Pex pipe full of hot antifreeze solution A tankless water heater/combi boiler will heat it all when necessary. As well as heat the water when I need to take a shower or wash my hands out there. Or need hot water for the bar sink

So what size will it take to heat all this in a good ol' Michigan winter..?
(I know you options with the zones too.)

It's not zoned. It's just 10 different loops.
I've got my eyes on a variable capacity unit that's capable of ramping up to 120k BTU/Hr. Probably never run anywhere near that high though. It fires all the way down to 10k or so. This building will be about the tightest structure around when I'm done.

I still say you should have built it out here in Sunny San Diego!
You would have saved a fortune on heating and insulation...
You wouldn't have had so many construction and scheduling issues...
And I could have borrowed it! (for the cost of a steak and beer of course... )

Not much photo worthy. Got the interior framing done and just finishing up rough wiring and rough plumbing.
Took a quick bike trip to the north woods this weekend. 50°’s and rain most of the time New bike is pretty good in the rain. Still cold but northern MI is absolutely beautiful right now. Full color up in the Traverse City area right now. Sideways rain blowing at 30+ MPH off Lake Michigan on the way home this morning
Back to working on the building now on Sunday night
