One day we will try to get on the site and it won't be here, the admins don't care.
What? Please explain.

Gram has brought up issues before and rather than continuing to try to fix the problem he disappears, just like this time. Next time we see him post it will be to tell us the last day of the site.

He is working on a series of choices. I know and have spoken with him. I do know that the options he wants to put out there are ones that the community can take ownership, manage and ensure it stays current on software for security. In addition to ensuring the transition and future costs are such that the community is able to maintain the RSC.

I believe him when talking to him that he cares deeply for this site, this community, and the members. I don't think it is fair to get on him like that as he is doing when he can with his free time to ensure this all happens.

I beg to differ. He has not disappeared just because we've not heard a recent update.
You know as well as me that he works behind the scenes and is not on on a daily basis.

While I do not really know Gram, I have only PM'd with him once, I have faith that anyone who put as much time, money, and effort into the RSC as he did, will not watch it fail without doing everything he can to see the legacy survive. For something that was both great and FREE, I'm surprised by the bitching and complaining.

IMHO we owe the man much more respect that that.

What ever happens to RSC, I can assure you that a huge part of Gram's life is in it..He has spent countless hours doing what he loves and he loves this place, sometimes maybe too much, but after all, it is his child..He is not just a programmer, he lives in the computer code and is part of it...one of those few that if they are not careful will get devoured kind of like the old film Tron......But he will leave it in the best possible shape for anyone who can pick it up...

Amen!

Gram and all the other creators and moderators who have kept this FREE and incredibly useful forum going for over a decade have my highest respect and appreciation. Anyone who questions Gram’ s and other’s dedication is an ungrateful SOB!

So I have only been on the RSC for 3 years and have learned a few things and added a few things on my 05 RS due to the great people of this site. My question is who were the orginal guys to start the RSC? Its been a great site and lots of great things have come from it.

The Roadstar Clinic platform, like ALL forums, has private sections that are not open for public consumption.
The admins of the RSC talk about a lot of stuff in a private room the rest of us peasants never see.
Some of us have even been the subject of such private & shadowed talks - or so I would guess. LOL

I'm sure Gram and the others are doing the best they can to keep this place alive in one form or another.

From my experience, reasonable questions (that haven't already been asked 100+ times in public) have usually been answered very quickly by either Gram or one of the admins here.
It is all done for free & on their own personal time, plus pay all the costs associated with this 'out of pocket' without requiring anyone else to pitch in.

Try to keep that in mind before complaining about not getting the trough filled more often.

This fits in here, right? I mean, I can make this fit in here ... right?
