Those look like a solid stand. But I'd probably spend the money on a welder and make my own.

I'll have to look at that. Would be a lot cheaper.

Use a bike jack. I use a set of wood blocks that I made. Some of the members seen them in Celina. It is a lot more stable than working on the bike while just on a bike jack. It also give access to under the bike that a jack covers up.

I have a darn good bike jack (J&S) and don't see the point of spending another $150.00 just for something for the bike to sit on. Plus you need a bike jack to get it up there.
Oh well to each his own.

Having something to set it up on without wobbling like a jack does or blocking the underside of the bike comes in real handy sometimes. I guess if you seen one on blocks or a stand like that and worked on it up there you would have a lot better understanding of it's usefulness. Now I'm with Ya on the $150. Like I said I made my block stands out of wood and they are sturdy as hell and for the price of a 2x12. In fact I think the one I used was an extra one off a job I did.
